Looking for a unique place to vacation? How about visiting the “Cuidad de la Eterna Primavera” or the “City of Eternal Spring”? That is the nickname of Medellin, Columbia. In addition to its lovely climate, Medellin boasts breathtaking views, fine dining, nightclubs featuring live Latin music, and day trips to nearby small towns called “pueblos”. Medellin offers luxurious accommodations including large hotels and B&B’s, but furnished Medellin apartments are the best value. They can be rented daily, weekly, or monthly; with monthly rates ranging from 45,000-65,000 pesos. Most areas of Medellin are completely safe for tourists, but it is suggested to use public transportation and do not stray out of the highways alone. This is fine because transportation is readily available and also inexpensive. Come to Medellin and enjoy all that Columbia has to offer.
