Full-service design company Elastic detailed work by Andy Hall, 3D and visual effects VFX leader in boutique a52, for the 2009 Newport Beach Film Festival. Working through the elastic, and in collaboration with advertising agency RPA Creative Director Scott MacDonald, SVP / Executive Producer Gary Paticoff, Hall directed the festival official: 30 open, which provided all the screening rate for 8-day event that started last week. Fully computer animated opening was designed room look and feel, as one of the epic stop-motion masterpieces, Terry Gilliam or Tim Burton. Content is slyly taking off from the strangely similar aesthetic studio names – like Hollywood with a dramatic twist – that welcomes visitors to Newport Beach, and their 10th annual celebration of cinema with wit and charm.
