My sister and her husband went down to South Africa for a month to do some sight seeing.  They are fairly adventurous people and really enjoy mingling with the local people of where ever they go.  I was surprised when they said that they rented a car and drove all over place.  I would have rather gotten a cape town car hire company to handle all the driving.  I would feel very nervous driving in a foreign country and would constantly worry that I was breaking some type of driving law.  Even though they made it sound really easy to travel that way, it’s not something that I would suggest.
