The sad thing about a couple splitting up is that they affect their children and also divorce can be so painful for them if a couple is married.  If the couple is not married, things can get messy for example the parental rights for unmarried couples can be a bit confusing and in most cases, depending on the relationship after the split, court is the only answer to solve the rights for the couple if things can’t be worked out.  There are different ways of looking at sorting things out but the most effective way is to talk amicably as the children are not to blame and sometimes depending on their age, may believe if the parents are arguing that it is their fault.
