I think it’s great to have New Year’s Resolutions, but many people are only dedicated to their goals at the beginning of the year and then if they do poorly or don’t keep to their goal, they simply justify waiting until the next year to make a resolution.

The other day my friend asked me if I had any New Year’s Resolutions and I didn’t know how to answer because I always have goals and things I am working on. It’s not just something I do at the beginning of the year for a few months and then give up or fall out of my habits. I constantly evaluate myself on all my goals. I type up my goals and categorize them into sections such as personal, spiritual, educational, physical, etc. and I keep them in my planner. This helps me to constantly remind myself of what I should be working on and keeps me on track.
