A couple of months ago my mother started dating a man that lives in North Carolina. My mother has been out with other men over the past nine years since my dad died. I had mixed emotions about this because of my father. I suppose enough time has passed that it shouldn’t bother me; however it does. The man that she is dating is somehow involved with mechanical training software. After I met him I discovered that he was really kind of a nice guy and that I could see him being a stepfather even though I’m 27 years old and live on my own.
