My sister is trying to get a credit card. She is hoping that she can build her score if she has a card and pays it off on time. I am trying to explain to her that she will need to try and get interest free credit cards. That they will make it much easier to pay them off, and you will not have a huge interest rate hat will add to the total. I tried to get one a while back and was not successful, but I am not as good as she is about paying things right on time.
