I was in no hurry for my son to get his drivers license, because I was not looking forward to purchasing any insurance for him no time soon. I knew the day was going to be coming, and it did two months ago. It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had a friend that told me about auto insurance in California where I could get a reasonable rate. My son has been such a great help to me since getting his license. I no longer have to shuffle the younger kids around any more, because he does it for me.
