Several years ago, we had a family emergency and ended up with some extended family staying with us. My older son got kicked out of his room so they would have a place to stay. We needed an area for him to sleep that would still be functional during the day. We looked at futon sets and found the perfect solution to the problem. We could pull it up during the day into a couch and he could have a fairly comfortable place to sleep come nighttime. It worked out pretty good. It was still a relief when they were able to move on and we got our home back.
