Drawing lots to obtain Christmas presents makes it easier, but there are also some problems. Thanks to my contrarian nature, I’m tempted to buy something other than what I’m supposed to. I have to buy my mom a mixer, so I’m looking for mixer reviews to get an estimate of what’s neat. I wish she’d wanted power tools. I guess getting my dear mother a brand-new mixer isn’t overmuch to ask. She does like baking for her family too. There’s nothing better than waking up to the scent of fresh baked gingerbread cookies. Mom says she adds an extra wonderful something to anything she bakes. She probably won’t tell us what it is anytime soon.
