I am fascinated with self sufficiency type stuff. It’s kind of funny, because I wasn’t really raised to be particularly competent, but I’ve developed that self reliance over the years since I’ve been married. I have a really great book that I just love. It’s pretty much the encyclopedia of all things do it yourself. It has everything from wind generator plans to the best ways to plant a garden. There’s even step by step directions that show you how to butcher your own hog. It’s kind of a smorgasbord of everything self sufficient. It’s a fantastic resource and I’m always referring to it for one thing or another.
