Many people believe that chiropractors want you to be dependent on them for the rest of your life. That is not true of my Houston Chiropractor. She wants me to be a part of my recover and future prevention of any pain or injury. At the beginning she did most of the work with the adjustments and muscle work. As my pain decreased she had be perform stretches and then exercises that would help me recover faster and help be get stronger to prevent the pain from coming back. She even recommended yoga for flexibility, strength and balance. I only see her every four to six weeks now and I am so happy that I have learned to take care of my body.
