My company is having problems finding a decent network solution. Our router is decent enough, but the switch port can’t handle the electromagnetic interference. I told my boss that we might have to spend quite a bit of money. At first, he didn’t look happy about the idea, but then he said that was fine. I began looking for something rugged, a platform that would be able to hand the harsh demands. I eventually came across the RX5000. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for our Electric Power Substation. It was one box that had serial, routing, and switching ports.
