Andrew Sinclair was Born in 1961 in Poole, Dorset, he completed a Fine art foundation course in Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and then carried on to experiment in other aspects of art. He became a studio manager in moulding and casting which led into him receiving commissions for a number of pieces that revealed the talent and flexibility of this great sculptor.

We’ve been working on set design for Kiss Me Kate this week. Joe and I have been going through video clips of other productions over the years, including the MGM movie version from the 1950s.

I was struck, once again, by Ann Miller’s beauty and her dancing. They don’t make ‘em like that any more.

We do have a very talented young cast coming in for this production, several Julliard trained dancers among them.

The principals are both great voices and actors as well. We’re very lucky to be able to draw this sort of talent to our rural area.
