I Want My Own Remo Djembe

Monday, January 11th, 2010

People call the remo djembe as the healing drum. I know that it is very famous in Africa more than in any other part in the world. People say that the drum produces healing energy which is why a lot of people like to hear it being played. I love playing the drums, and it would be a nice opportunity to play the remo djembe for people. My mother and I are in the process of negotiating whether she will purchase the drum for me or if I have to save my own money to get one. Nevertheless, I will get one for myself no matter what the result will be.

Old Friend has Craft Website

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Only just the other day I was wondering what had become of my old school chum Liz with whom I used to spend most of my childhood time with. We used to do everything together including trips to the cinema, days out and of course spending our Saturday afternoons in the local craft store looking for Craft Card Supplies for our mutual hobbies and pastimes. Well, yesterday I ran into Liz at the shopping mall and we went to have coffee together. I asked if she was still crafting and she said that she was now running an online craft supplies business covering areas such as scrapbooking, embroidery and card making. So last evening I took a look at Liz’s website and was absolutely amazed at the wide variety of products and materials she had to offer. For anyone who is interested you can find her excellent site at www.liz-craft.co.uk.

Kid Party 3D Glasses

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

My daughter is about to turn 7 and we are planning a really large party and sleepover for her and some friends. One of the things that she requested at the part is that we rent a really great 3D movie that she likes and watch it right before we go to bed. I think it will be great to turn down all the lights, buy some 3D Glasses somewhere and eat popcorn and watch this movie. It will be a great ending to a great day. I just hope that the kids will want to sleep after the movie is over.

For most ballet dancers, they are particular with styles of ballet leotards that is why they only want the best for them. When buying leotards, there are important things that you need to focus on and those are color, cut and the materials used. For cut, leotards are cut into different cuts and you have to focus on the leg cut, the sleeves and the neckline. For the leg cut, it is usually low on the hip but in the modern versions, you’ll see higher cut now. Dancers usually prefer the long cut because it will give emphasize to their legs, it will appear as if they have longer legs.

We end up on an Electric guitar for sale shop

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

My Dad and I went to less shop who sells electric guitars for sale, it was my fault that we have to buy an electric guitar.

Few days ago, while we were visiting the house of my father’s best friend, I was playing with his daughter, running around the house. I unintentionally bump into the wall where their electric guitar was hung.

So that’s why my dad and I end up here on this electric guitars for sale shop to find an electric guitar to replace the one I broke. Luckily we found an electric guitar exactly the same as the one they had, right then I promised myself not to run around in someone else’s house.

My Special Piece Of Religious Jewelry

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

I own several pieces of religious jewelry and of course I have my special favorites however I also have something i deem special to me and goes wherever I go. I carry My special Piece Of Religious Jewelry in my purse. I have a patron saint medal that I have had blessed many years ago to keep me safe in my travels. And of course i find myself every now and then checking in my purse to be sure in no way shape or form was it removed lost or stolen as this is my very special treasure. I’m sure not everyone carries religious jewelry however, I feel much more comfortable knowing that I have the blessings of the church to guide me and keep me out of harms way.

Cheap Modern Furniture: Our Ideal Furniture

Friday, December 18th, 2009

We have been looking for Cheap Modern Furniture that we could use in the living room while watching movies from our home theater system. It looks like our old furniture no longer looks good so we had to give it away. Our neighbor gratefully accepted the old furniture that we gave away because they were just renting the house and it was not furnished with furniture. Our ideal furniture is something that would give us a comfortable sit. It should not be too small to hold bigger sized people. It should not be too large either in order to save some space. Cheap modern furniture can be difficult to find.

These pictures are printed by the artist from hand-processed, slow speed negatives onto archival medium contrast paper manufactured by Kodak, and are made mostly in the early morning and late afternoon, satisfying the artist’s current infatuation with blousy, velvety light.
