I have been thinking of building a new home.  I have been talking with several of my friends and co-workers, and they are telling me that I should build a new home so that it is environmentally friendly.  It appears that it will cost a lot more money than I anticipated, but there would be tremendous savings a few years down the road.  It would really be nice to have the leed certification to show my friends, and it would be a great accomplishment.  My wife and I have been talking about it also, and she really wants me to build to green standards.  She said that it would also be teaching our children the different ways of going green and why it will help in the future.
