Once I was on this backpacking trip with a couple of friends of mine. We were hiking along, with this thunderstorm came out of nowhere. We ran and hid under some trees. Then a park ranger came walking up, and he was carrying a guitar, not entirely unusual. He said that while we were waiting, he’d give us a free acoustic guitar lesson. He said that lightening is much less dangerous than people think, and a guitar lesson is just what it takes sometimes to calm peoples nerves. I guess he was right, because by the time he finished, we were as right as rain, to put it in the vernacular.
