These pictures are printed by the artist from hand-processed, slow speed negatives onto archival medium contrast paper manufactured by Kodak, and are made mostly in the early morning and late afternoon, satisfying the artist’s current infatuation with blousy, velvety light.

Angela Cappetta’s nyc wedding photo work is in such permanent collections as the New York Public Library, the Corcoran Museum of Art, The Carlsbad Museum, and the Center for Photography at Woodstock.  She resides and works in New York City, and has worked for such publications as The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The London Times Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.
